The media sphere in wartime is going through turbulent times
Together with our colleagues, we discussed the challenges faced by journalists in wartime and how to tackle issues efficiently during an interregional roundtable.
Among the major challenges faced by journalists from the Chernivtsi region today are:
- Attracting funding;
- Ensuring that newsrooms work under special conditions;
- Changing work standards;
- Ensuring they work with authorities;
- Safety issues for journalists working “in the field.”
We are working to provide help to all our colleagues from across the country.
The meeting was organized by Souspilnist Foundation in collaboration with the Independent Media Council (IMC), with the support of the Ivano-Frankivsk Medi Center for Journalists, Center for Democracy and Rule of Law, Detector Media, and UA:Bukovyna.
