Words matter: they can harm or heal. Since you can never be sure what another person has gone through, it’s wise to always use trauma-informed communication techniques when interacting with others.
This skill is especially important for creating a safe and supportive workplace environment. That’s why we invite journalists to learn more about:
– The principles of trauma-sensitive communication
– A model for supporting colleagues under stress
– Stabilization techniques
Psychologist Anton Pokaliukhin – from the Resilience Hub platform, psychotherapy intern in the CBT approach, and co-founder of the Ukrainian Psycho-Oncology Association – will help participants understand the nuances of safe communication and emotional support.
