Souspilnist Foundation, with the support of Internews Ukraine and Detector Media, invites journalists from across Ukraine to take part in the School of Convergence Journalism.
The event will be conducted as part of the national “Open Media Stories” initiative and includes a series of training workshops as well as hands-on training in universal journalism, media project management on a regional level, financial viability, content monetization, digitization, digital security culture, fact-checking and countering disinformation/manipulations.
The interregional School aims to promote media innovations and share best practices among young journalists, develop ideas and concepts in the media market by way of partnership dialogue on a national and regional level.
The participants will take part in creating convergence journalism products and master the technicalities of the work of a present-day universal journalist.
The date and location of the School: June 29 – July 1, 2021, Odesa.
Participation is free of charge. Souspilnist Foundation will provide the participants with lodging and food, and reimburse transportation costs (train, bus).
The school will be conducted in accordance with the MOH safety guidelines for group events.
