The event aims to raise awareness of the common consequences of the pandemic for mental health and to discuss ways to support it.

The meeting will take place on November 26, from 11:00 till 12:15 on Zoom.

The joy of recovery from the COVID-19 may fade due to prolonged fatigue and pain that can linger for months. Mental health issues constitute a separate aspect.

In the first three months after being infected, according to studies (Pubmed, August 2021), the most common problems were:

  • anxiety (6,5% – 63%),
  • depression (4% – 31%),
  • post-traumatic stress disorder (12,1% – 46,9%).

Decreased quality of life was generally recorded for three or more months after COVID-19.

What should you know, and how can you support yourself/your colleagues/loved ones in this tough period?

At the meeting with Anastasiia Nizhnik, psychologist and CBT consultant, we will discuss:

  • the most common mental health effects for those who recovered from COVID-19,
  • ways to support yourself in the post-COVID period,
  • ways to tackle worry and anxiety in times of global uncertainty that the pandemic still generates.

The meeting will be moderated by Dmytro Tuzov, NV Radio host.
