Holding firm when others fall

The Media Management School of Souspilnist Foundation and Souspilnist Academy offers knowledge and practices that will become a backbone.

Until February 8, 2022, we will accept applications to participate in a two-day intensive training session, during which we will look into the main aspects of the survival of the media under current conditions.

  • Hit the bull’s eye. Gauging, segmenting, and working with the audience.
  • How not to turn mountains into molehills. Being able to succeed even at projects that seem unviable and properly use the full spectrum of project management tools in the media.
  • Circular firing squad. There is a team but there is no teamwork. Building up the team to climb media Olympus peaks cutting through the rock and ice.
  • Everyone says it’s “impossible,” but you go out and earn. Turning a media outlet into a successful business project.

We have asked successful media managers to break their experience into tools and algorithms that you can adjust to your needs.

We offer no magic pills, but we will cure your management-related pains.

To get to the intensive training, you need to:

  • be an editor, manager, head (all levels) or a team leader ready to apply the skills to your media project/newsroom and share your success stories with us;
  • fill out the application form by 12:00 on February 8, 2022;
  • send your CV to souspilnistfoundation@gmail.com;
  • remember to attach your motivation letter. It should enable us to understand why it is important for you to participate in the School and what management-related problems of your specific media project you would like to tackle;
  • be ready to come to Kyiv with the documents necessary for the quarantine zone.

Participation in the School is free of charge. The participants are selected on a competitive basis.

Training will take place on February 26-27, 2022, in Kyiv.

We will reimburse travel expenses and provide the participants with free room and board during the training session.

The event will be held in compliance with quarantine regulations.

If you have questions or need, call us at 067-444-56-80 (Olena Sivash), 095-698-18-31 (Viktoriia) or write to souspilnistfoundation@gmail.com.

This event is made possible with financial support from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) through the Media Program in Ukraine project implemented by Internews. The program empowers Ukrainian media and expands access to quality information.
