The massive event, National Media Talk, has begun, bringing together the media community for productive dialogue.
On day one, Souspilnist Foundation actively participated, presenting the Mental Support for Media program for journalists. Andrii Sydorenko, co-founder of the program, shared insights on how media can recover and strengthen during times of war, providing effective and valuable advice on coping with psychological challenges in the early stages. He also highlighted the importance of paying attention to anxiety levels, burnout, and depression within newsrooms right now.
As part of National Media Talk, various topics were discussed and explored, including media freedom during and after wartime, artificial intelligence, storytelling, disinformation research, media in the occupied territories, the state of the advertising market, as well as the prospects for post-war media recovery.
Tomorrow, another powerful day of National Media Talk awaits us, where we will discuss media reform, professional capital for media, journalistic ethics, the prospects of digital advertising, the changing paradigm of media consumption, the importance of journalist insurance, and many other crucial topics.
