The invitation for newsrooms to utilize psychological support within the Mental Support for Media program is open year-round. Free support is prioritized for newsroom teams and individual journalists working in combat zones and locations close to the front lines. The program is based on a developed and tested model of comprehensive support for newsroom teams, which includes four components: diagnosis; training; individual consultations; and journalist recovery events. During the program’s operation, over 15 newsroom teams received support, more than 300 media professionals have undergone psychological diagnostics, and over 1000 hours of individual consultations have been provided.
