“Ukraine must become a modern European and global hub in the fight against disinformation, a training center to resist malicious Russian propaganda, and a laboratory for new formats of media promotion and media literacy during wartime,” stated Dmytro Tuzov, the media expert from the Souspilnist Foundation, during the International Conference on Media Literacy and Media Self-Regulation.
According to him, involving journalists in popularizing media literacy is an essential component in implementing the national strategy to combat disinformation. Therefore, it is important to initiate and develop opportunities for cooperation between the expert community and the media, following the example of the “Antithesis” program segment on NV Radio and educational modules of the Media Mobility Hub program.
