This year, the Souspilnist Foundation’s special award, “For Significant Contribution to the Development of Journalism and Service to Public Interests” for 2024, was presented to Andrii Dubchak, war correspondent, photographer, videographer, founder, and head of the independent reporting media “Frontliner.”
The award ceremony took place within the framework of the National Press Club project in collaboration with the Media Mobility Hub Alumni Association.
In his acceptance speech, the laureate emphasized that we are living in times of great challenges for journalists and there is a pressing need to capture everything happening. He emphasized that everything Andrii Dubchak and the “Donbas Frontliner” team do is not only about journalism but about a passionate heart, serving public interests, sacrifice, and dedication to their cause.
