We’re designing, seeking the golden mean, strengthening ourselves, and creatively triumphing!

The second day of the “Media Management for Youth” course was a true boost of energy and ideas! After the first day, filled with impressions and knowledge, our participants returned ready for new challenges and insights. Today was a real festival of innovative approaches, strategic decisions, and inspiring speeches.

 Media manager Tetiana Kyselchuk, discussed the development of project strategy, emphasizing the importance of utilizing the internet and AI, team building, creating a one-page project overview and budget, stakeholder identification, and relationship building. She also underscored the necessity of market analysis and targeting the audience, as well as task delegation.

Suspilne board member  Dmytro Khorkin shared insights on “How to speak to be heard,” which is paramount. He emphasized that the biggest mistake in oration is pauses during speech, and offered advice on how to avoid them, such as reading more. They also discussed “dark rhetoric” and how to respond to aggression, highlighting that it may be appropriate only in certain cases, and in such instances, intelligence is better applied.

 Executive director of Ukrayinska Pravda Andrii Boborykin explained the basics of marketing and distribution. He emphasized that distribution begins with the target audience, and success in feeds depends on the response of the test audience to the content. He also discussed the importance of social media algorithms in content dissemination.

Alisa Polishchuk discussed another, if not the most popular, theme of communication campaigns. She emphasized the importance of USP (Unique Selling Proposition) and finding the golden mean between what the audience wants, what you do better, and what competitors do better. As Zinc Network’s media manager, Dmytro Khilchenko not only talked but also showed how to develop an effective workflow. He explained that the process begins with understanding the purpose, rules, and constraints, developing the process, identifying pain points, and addressing them. Workflow is a continuous improvement process, and it’s important not to stop at what has been achieved.

So we didn’t stop and kept moving forward! HR expert Iryna Morzhova HR introduced participants to the “Golden Circle” of management: planning, organization, motivation, and control. She emphasized the importance of safety, relationships, and recognition for building effective teamwork.

Three more days of fruitful work lie ahead, and each of them promises to be even more interesting and productive. The participants are already eager for new challenges and opportunities, ready to conquer new heights.
