Almost one in four Ukrainians heard about it, and nearly one in eight took part in the celebrations. The Souspilnist Foundation, as a partner, was proud to be part of this historic milestone.
According to the Media Literacy Index of Ukrainians survey by NGO Detector Media, conducted by New Image Marketing Group, 24% of citizens aged 18+ either heard about the 100th anniversary of Ukrainian Radio or participated in related events.
This memorable date was marked across all age groups:
– 20% of young people aged 18–35
– 21% of Ukrainians aged 36–55
– 29% of those aged 56+

Some of the most popular ways people engaged included documentary broadcasts, participation in the National Unity Radio Dictation, President Zelensky’s interview for the anniversary, and a festive TV concert featuring the Ukrainian Radio Symphony Orchestra and Choir at the National Opera of Ukraine.
