The Council of Europe standards assign an important role to independence and professionalism of the public broadcasters’ steering bodies.
In the coming months, most of the first Supervisory Board members of UA:PBC will see re-election.
The Supervisory Board sets the main directions and development strategies for the Public Broadcaster, adopts the Editorial Charter, selects Chairman on a competitive basis and appoints Board members at his/her proposal, defines the company’s key performance indicators, forms the audit commission, etc.
