On February 24, 2022, the russian federation invaded sovereign democratic Ukraine in a belligerent bid to realize its imperial and inhumane ambitions. In the last four days, objects of russian attacks have included kindergartens, families with children, and civil infrastructure. As of now, it is known that 352 civilians have perished, including 14 children, and 1684 have been wounded, including 116 children. The occupants are resorting to deliberate acts that can only be considered crimes against humanity.
Meanwhile, the russian propaganda machine continues to justify putin’s and his puppet regimes’, such as the illegitimate regime of lukashenka in Belarus, crimes by referring to world information agencies and photobanks to spread their disinformation worldwide.
We call on all world information and media agencies to block access for all russian government information organizations and services such as TASS and others. We also call on all colleague-journalists to abstain from using russian propagandistic sources for their reportage.
The kremlin’s information warfare kills as effectively as bombing does, by destroying human empathy and support for the victims of their crimes.
We are convinced that the inconvenience of taking this step is a lesser price to pay than the threat of the third world nuclear war which is around the corner because of the russia’s criminal regime and its puppets.
