The memorial in honor of fallen journalists has been unveiled at the Institute of Journalism of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. This important initiative aims to pay tribute to those who have sacrificed their lives for truth, our freedoms, and independence. The creative composition, proposed by military journalists, symbolizes the bravery and dedication of media professionals who, in fulfilling their professional duties, have become victims of Russian aggression. This memorial, located next to the main auditoriums, will be a significant tribute to the memory of our lost colleagues, emphasized Yurii Bondar, the institute’s director. The opening ceremony was attended by journalists from many generations of the Institute of Journalism, as well as participants of the educational programs of the Souspilnist Academy.
