Four days of quality recovery for a journalist is a rare opportunity and at the same time a valuable resource that can work wonders.
We cannot erase the difficult experiences of the war, but we can support each other and create recovery opportunities that, if only for a short time, bring us back to an atmosphere of normalcy, allow us to process difficult memories, or calm anxious thoughts.
This year, we are continuing recovery activities for journalists and doing everything we can to support those who need it. Recently, the first summer recovery event took place. Among its participants were journalists from Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Odesa, and Kyiv.
Recovery activities are one of the components of the Mental Support for Media program, initiated by the Souspilnist Foundation in partnership with the BrainCult Mental Health Center. Their implementation is made possible thanks to the “Media Program, Internews in Ukraine,” carried out by the international organization Internews.
